HALLOWEEN ZOMBIE THRILLER DANCE - 3D Unreal Engine Fun!

Thriller Dance - made with animated Mixamo characters and Unreal Engine

This Halloween Zombie Thriller Dance was my first attempt at using animated characters from Adobe's Mixamo website in an environment created in Unreal Engine - it’s a pretty steep learning curve but hours of fun and there are tons of free elements online to use in your creations.

Just for halloween I thought why not try to choreograph some zombies to Michael Jackson's iconic Thriller sound track and this is the result. No AI was used, just good old fashioned 3D models and motion captured animations, which I downloaded from the Adobe Mixamo website - an amazing resource.

It's not perfect and there are some timing and focus issues but it's incredible what you can do in a few hours on an old intel iMac machine.

Now I’ve got the Unreal Engine bug I so need a new computer!
